Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains how AlharthiWeb uses information in connection with alharthiweb.com, our web design and WordPress plugin business, and Alharthi Plugin Factory, our tool for preparing, testing and marketing WordPress plugins.
Website visits and enquiries
When you email us or contact us through a linked service, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details and project or support request. We use it to respond and provide the requested services. Please do not send passwords, API secrets or unnecessary sensitive information.
Visiting the website sends technical information, including your IP address, browser information and requested pages, to the website infrastructure. Hosting and security services may process request logs to deliver and protect the site. WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrator sign-in and session preferences. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in. External links, including social media and messaging services, are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.
Google OAuth and YouTube API Services
Alharthi Plugin Factory uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services to connect a channel with the account holder’s authorization. Sign-in takes place with Google; the factory does not ask for or store your Google password. Visiting this website does not authorize access to your Google account.
The integration accesses the authorized channel’s identifier, title, handle, channel status and uploads playlist identifier to verify the destination account. For videos managed through the factory, it can read video identifiers, titles, descriptions, visibility and processing status, and caption metadata. It uses this information to prepare, verify and resume authorized publishing operations.
With the account holder’s permission, the factory can upload videos, thumbnails and subtitles, update video metadata, and change a video’s visibility. These channel-content management actions require explicit approval within the factory workflow. Connecting an account alone does not approve an upload or public publication. The current integration does not access Gmail messages, contacts or payment information.
Storage, use and sharing
In the current operator-run setup, the OAuth client configuration is stored outside the project repository. Reusable authorization credentials are kept in the operator’s Windows user environment, and access tokens are used in process memory. Resumable upload session information is encrypted using Windows user protection. Channel and video identifiers, publishing metadata, status records and operational evidence are stored in the factory’s local workspace to support verification and recovery. Credentials are not included in plugin packages or public website content.
Google receives authorization requests and approved video, thumbnail, subtitle and metadata uploads. Authorized operators and service providers involved in operating the website or assisting an authorized workflow may process the information needed for that task. The factory’s YouTube integration does not sell Google account data or use it for advertising. Content becomes visible on YouTube according to its approved privacy setting. Google’s handling of information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the YouTube-connected features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Revoking access and requesting deletion
You can remove the application’s access at any time through Google Account Permissions. Revocation prevents further authorized access; it does not itself delete videos already stored on YouTube or copies of operational records held by the factory.
To request deletion of stored authorization credentials, Google/YouTube account records or information supplied to AlharthiWeb, email Info@alharthiweb.com with the subject “Privacy / data deletion” and identify the relevant channel or enquiry. Do not include credentials. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder. Records remain in the operator-managed workspace until removed; deletion requests are handled by the operator rather than an automatic website control. Videos on YouTube can be managed or deleted through YouTube Studio.
